College of Education
The College of Education consists of a single department, the Department of Education and Human Services and five distinct academic programs: Counseling Psychology, Educational Leadership, School Psychology, Special Education and Teaching, Learning and Technology (teacher education and instructional technology).
Lehigh University Autism Services
Lehigh University Autism Services (LUAS) opened in 2018 with the mission of providing quality therapeutic services for young children with autism residing in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas. LUAS is a university-based autism services clinic housed within the Center for Promoting Research to Practice of the College of Education.
Biological Sciences
Biological Sciences has the largest science major constituency at Lehigh, with programs spanning Biology, Molecular Biology, Behavioral Neuroscience, and Biochemistry. Notably, the department involves the highest number of students in independent study and honors research with its faculty.
Health Research Hub
Lehigh's Health Research Hub (HRH) is designed and built to be a truly collaborative space. Several bioengineering labs are located here full time. The HRH also provides other flexible use spaces for researchers, and is well equipped with built-in infrastructure and research resources.
Bioengineering
At the core of Lehigh’s Department of Bioengineering are pillars of recognized strengths in bioscience, systems, mechanics, materials, and computer science. Several bioengineering labs are based in Iacocca Hall, including the Matrix Engineering Lab, Neural Engineering Lab, Seshadri Lab, and more.
Technical Entrepreneurship
Technical Entrepreneurship offers a 30-credit master’s degree and a 12-credit graduate certificate (for master’s and doctoral students from all five colleges). With a dual focus on solving real-world problems through product development and venture creation, it empowers graduates to turn bold ideas into impactful startups and corporate innovation.
Office of Technology Transfer
Lehigh's Office of Technology Transfer manages the intellectual property created at Lehigh from faculty research with the goal of enhancing the societal impact of our innovative work. We help connect Lehigh's cutting-edge technologies and researchers with industry partners, investors, and entrepreneurs to bring innovative solutions to real-world problems.
