Building upon a foundation of Lehigh research expertise and resources in computationally-intensive and computationally-focused research, The Institute for Data, Intelligent Systems, and Computation (I-DISC) cultivates and supports collaboration with industrial, academic, and governmental partners in attacking some of the most pressing challenges in technology and society.

Design Labs Mountaintop
The Design Labs at Mountaintop boast a world class wood shop, a metal fabrication shop, and digital fabrication tools like a CNC router, CNC plasma cutter, and CNC laser cutter. To meet the growing demand for 3D printing resources, Lehigh's Design Labs also recently established a new 3D printing hub on the Mountaintop campus. Come get your hands dirty making beautiful and functional objects!

AIR Lab
The Autonomous and Intelligent Robotics (AIR) Lab is a joint research group composed of faculty and students at Lehigh University. Our research covers relevant areas in robotics including robot control, machine learning, manipulation, aerial robotics, autonomous driving, and more.

Small Cities Lab
A new initiative in Lehigh’s College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), the Small Cities Lab offers an interdisciplinary approach to place-based research and participatory design, tackling issues such as lack of affordable housing, urban ecology and greenspace, pollution, community health, food insecurity, and more in communities with less than 250,000 people.
